In a world that often feels transactional,
we're building something different—
a place where friendship comes first, where women can show up as themselves, and where a simple dinner invitation can turn into a lifelong connection.
Hey girl, I'm RachelI started Amie because I wanted to create more opportunities for women to put down their phones, pull up a chair, and experience the kind of genuine connection that only happens in real life.
Because making friends as an adult shouldn't be so hard, and no one should have a list of restaurants they're dying to try without people they can't wait to share them with.
We believe many women are craving something that has become surprisingly difficult to find: genuine connection.
In a world where we're more digitally connected than ever, meaningful friendships often feel harder to build. Life is busy. People move. Work, family, and endless responsibilities fill our calendars. We have group chats, followers, and acquaintances, yet so many women still find themselves wishing they had more people to share life with.
At the same time, some of life's best moments happen around a table.
Food has always been about so much more than what's on the plate. It's culture, storytelling, celebration, nostalgia, and love. No matter where we come from, food is one of the few languages we all speak.
For those of us who love food, restaurants aren't just places to eat— they're places to discover, celebrate, connect, and create memories. Yet so many food lovers have a growing list of restaurants they want to try and no one to go with.
Amie was created for those women, too.
The women who get excited about a new restaurant opening. The women who send menu links to their friends. The women who plan trips around where they're going to eat. The women who believe a great meal is always better when shared.
We believe friendship deserves intention. We believe community is essential to our wellbeing. And we believe some of the strongest connections are formed when people gather around a table with nowhere else to be.
So we gather around tables, explore great restaurants, and create opportunities for women to connect— but the food has never been the ultimate goal.
Friendship is.
Because when women feel supported, connected, and surrounded by people who genuinely care about them, life becomes richer. Cities feel smaller. New experiences feel more exciting. Challenges feel lighter. And ordinary moments become something worth savoring.
That's the why behind Amie.
To help women discover incredible food, share meaningful experiences, and find the people they can't wait to invite to the next reservation on their list.
